NEWS 24/12/02- Hellinic Cup- Waverley Wanderers AEK will not be participating in next year's Hellinic cup.
23/12/02- Waverley Wanderers have appointed ex National League Player Shaun Parton as its Coach for season 2003.
Sean has an extensive soccer background in Australia, having played for Melbourne Knights, Sunshine George Cross and Preston in the National League.
He was successful as a Coach with Ringwood guiding them to second position in 1998, and this was followed with a playing stint at Langwarrin and Doncaster Rovers.
Sean will add strength and experience to the Waverley side and he will be taking on a player coach role.
The club will now focus on signing some quality players in their quest to gain promotion to the State League.
